Release Manager

About the opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Release Manager to support complex technology environments, coordinating end-to-end release planning and execution across development, QA, infrastructure, operations and business teams. This role requires strong technical understanding, including software delivery, code-level concepts and microservices-based architectures, with the ability to define release strategies from the ground up and ensure controlled, reliable and well-governed delivery.

What you will do

Define and structure release management strategies, processes and governance from the ground up.
Plan and coordinate releases across complex technology environments.
Manage release calendars, dependencies, risks, approvals and implementation windows.
Coordinate with development, QA, infrastructure, operations and business stakeholders.
Ensure release readiness, execution control and post-release validation.
Define and manage rollback plans to reduce operational risk.
Support continuous improvement of release practices, communication flows and delivery predictability.

What we are looking for

Senior experience in release management, delivery coordination or similar roles in complex IT environments.
Strong understanding of software delivery, application lifecycle management and technical release processes.
Ability to work with technical teams and understand code-level implications, integrations and microservices.
Experience defining release strategies, governance and operational processes from the beginning.
Strong planning, coordination, risk management and stakeholder management skills.
Structured, autonomous and solution-oriented working style.
Professional working proficiency in Portuguese and English, minimum B2 level.

Technical skills

Release management: release planning, calendars, dependencies, approvals, implementation windows and rollback planning.
Software delivery: understanding of code, application delivery lifecycles, deployment flows and technical readiness.
Architecture awareness: microservices, integrations and distributed systems concepts.
Delivery coordination: collaboration with development, QA, infrastructure, operations and business teams.
Governance and quality: risk management, readiness checks, post-release validation and continuous improvement.
